Loyola of Chicago says no to unintentional plagiarism

Taking a stance in opposition to SIU, Loyola University of Chicago finds unintentional plagiarism to be a bad thing:

At the Phoenix, we do not take the issue of plagiarism lightly - it is not tolerated in any way, shape or form. What constitutes plagiarism is not easily defined, but taking another writer's idea and structure - whether intentional or not - is an offense. Anything published that is even remotely questionable is damaging to the paper as a whole. There is a very special relationship that the Phoenix needs to develop with its readers, and it is fundamentally the most important part of running a paper. We depend on you just as you depend on us; it's a reciprocal relationship where the value of trust is at the core. When that trust is broken, the paper loses its credibility and it can no longer be considered an accurate source of information. As a result, the paper cannot fulfill its ultimate purpose of serving the public.
